Mac screen recorder with an AI script and voiceover
mocka.screen records your Mac screen, analyses the recording to find the steps in it, drafts a timed script in your chosen tone and one of 70+ languages, and generates an ElevenLabs v3 voiceover synced to the timeline. AI scripts and voiceovers are available on the Pro ($19/month) and Studio ($35/month) plans and use monthly AI credits.
How the workflow works
- Record your screen as normal. Say nothing if you prefer; the narration comes later.
- AI screen analysis finds the steps and actions in the recording.
- Script drafting writes timed narration. Pick one of 6 tones: Tech Explainer, Cinematic, Professional, Casual, Energetic or Educational.
- Voiceover generates the narration with an ElevenLabs v3 voice and places it on the timeline.
- Add word-timed animated captions, then export.
Credits and plans
A script draft costs 2 credits and a voiceover costs about 0.06 credits per character. Pro includes 1,500 AI credits a month and Studio includes 4,000. Active Pro and Studio subscribers can top up 1,000 credits for $10. Starter ($9/month) has no AI credits but includes the full native recorder and editor.
Your data
Recording, editing, noise removal and export stay on your Mac. AI requests send the data they need, such as frames, audio or script text, to the AI providers only after you consent in the app.
